Our family would like to invite you to historic Willett Distillery, an independent and family-owned distillery that dates back to 1936. The property sits on the outskirts of lovely Bardstown, Kentucky, in an atmosphere that is quintessential Kentucky. Bardstown literally owns the name “Bourbon Capital of the World,” and in 2012 the USA Today and Rand McNally proclaimed Bardstown “The Most Beautiful Small Town in America.”
Once on the distillery grounds, one begins to understand just how unique the distillery and its surroundings are. Great efforts to restore the main distillery building, cistern room, aging warehouses and many other aspects of the grounds have the left the property totally transformed, with more exciting developments in the works. From the underground, spring-fed lakes, to the Kentucky split-face limestone exterior, to the old turn-of-the-century belt and pulley fan systems running throughout the distillery and visitor center, it truly makes for a memorable trip.

Distillery tours are available year round. Tours last between 45 minutes and an hour.
There are no tours on the following dates: Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving and the day after, December 24, 25, 31 and January 1.
Monday thru Saturday – 10:00am – 4:00pm, on the hour

American Heroes
We love our American Heroes! We invite all active, veterans and retired Military, First Responders and Educators to join our tours at a discounted $5 rate. This guided walking tour of the historic Willett Distillery grounds showcases our iconic potstill and concludes with a sampling of our memorable whiskey and a souvenir Willett Distillery Glass.
Guests under 21 are welcome and are not charged for the tour.
Reservations are recommended for tours. Since we do have capacity restrictions, we cannot guarantee you will be able to take the tour without a reservation. You can easily reserve your tour ahead of time using our online scheduler.
Tours may be delayed or cancelled due to inclement weather or production demands.
